It’s been a tough old year in the UK hasn’t it? Scratch that, it’s been a tough old year everywhere! The Covid-19 Pandemic forced governments into an unprecedented situation, one that would see them propping up their people by paying for them to stay at home. Whilst this was great, we all knew it would lead to nowhere good. Now here we are in 2023 in the midst of a recession and the worry on everyone’s minds right now is, is the value of my house going to go down?

Whilst it certainly looks that way, nothing can be guaranteed, but we aren’t there yet. However, if you were thinking of selling, now might be the perfect time. Home staging brings with it the added benefit of increasing your sale price, which could be a much needed bonus if the value of your home has dropped.

It can seem counterintuitive sometimes, to spend more money when you’re faced with the prospect of losing it or are doing everything you can to save. However, we all know that we have to speculate to accumulate and when it comes to house selling and buying, it’s no different.

With home staging bringing with it the benefits of a higher sale price and faster purchase, thus lowering your overall costs, it’s practically a no brainer and should seriously be considered in your home selling budget. However, if you simply cannot afford to pay a professional stager, you can always do it yourself.
